Plastyagro® was born in June 2012 in response to the need of the agricultural and industrial companies that demand a more specialized service when they have to make a purchase in the complicated world of plastics.
Since its inception, the company has had a clear vocation for advice and support, to ensure our customers the most appropriate solution to their needs.

The founder of the company, with an experience of more than 10 years in the world of agricultural and industrial plastic, created the company to be able to offer a quality service to companies and industries.

The beginnings are located in the town of Don Benito, in an industrial warehouse carrying out commercialization and distribution tasks. Little by little, the company was creating alliances with large manufacturers who were looking for a professional company that wants to offer a quality service to the client. In this first stage the company has a person in the Department of Administration and Customer Service, which gives telephone and emailing support to customers throughout Spain.

With just one year in the market, the online shop is created to facilitate the sales of Plastyagro® products.

 

New Location

The company keeps growing and in May 2015 it moves to Mérida.
The change supposes an improvement both in the organization and for the clients. Plastyagro® is located in the largest industrial estate of Mérida, where all the transport companies of the region are located. This means a faster delivery of the products in order to give the best service to our customers.

With more appropriate facilities in the technological field and with more office and warehouse space, the company continues growing from a worker to 3 workers, creating the Logistics and Marketing Departments.

 

Essentially innovators

In April 2017 the company undertakes new challenges to adapt to new global issues. Problems such as climate change need a strong response from businesses and citizens. For this reason, Plastyagro® creates Enviroplast®, the only biodegradable mulch film in a retail format.

With the launch of Enviroplast®, the company wants to contribute and promote change in the use of biodegradable agricultural plastics. #ActAsUthink is our slogan to continue causing a change of mentality in society. Our main objective is producers bet on biodegradable plastics, which have the same guarantees and functionalities as the conventional ones, with the added value of protecting and taking care of the environment.

At the end of 2017, PlastyProtect® brand was created, an extensive catalog of tree protectors to take care of the cultives in their first years of life. With this family of products and the brand we have positioned ourselves as a national and international reference, thanks to the experience and background of more than a decade in the application of this product in the field, using innovative manufacturing techniques and the guarantee of the best quality in the market.

 

Communication, communication and communication 

The company's way of communicating has always been closely linked to new technologies. Since its inception, Plastyagro® has invested time and resources in communicating and showing the public its activity, as well as relevant information of the sector that may be of interest to followers.

That is why the Facebook page has almost 2,000 fans, publishing new trends, new products, news of the sector or other contents of interest. In addition, we are also on other social networks such as Twitter, LinkedInInstagram and we have our own channel on YouTube. Our main objective with this actions is the dissemination of quality content related to Plastyagro®.

 

International character and vision

Internationally, the company has also grown since its origins. Its vocation of service and its philosophy makes international activity a natural path in the consolidation of the firm. In order to adapt to the new global challenges, we have participated in different international exhibitions to present our products and expand our network of contacts.

Therefore, the history of the company continues day by day, but always with the same philosophy and without losing sight of its main objective: to help and accompany the customer in the purchase, advising at all times and ensuring the best quality of the market.
